Alexandra Scott-Malden
Solicitor, Collaborative Lawyer and Arbitrator
Having lived in the Newbury area her entire life, Alexandra joined Charles Hoile in 1997, qualifying as a solicitor in 1999.
Specialising in family law, and as a wife and mother herself, Alexandra brings sensitivity and compassion to her role, which includes divorce, separation, financial agreements and arrangements for children following separation or divorce. Alexandra has developed a keen understanding of this area, being a Law Society and Resolution Accredited Specalist.

Emma Macpherson
Consultant Solicitor and Mediator
Emma specialises in family work and in particular finances on divorce/separation and private children work. She is a member of Resolution and a trained Collaborative Lawyer. Emma recently trained as a Mediator and is currently working towards full Accreditation.
Emma has worked in the Berkshire/Oxfordshire area for many years in a number of different roles within local firms.
Emma is a former Chair and Trustee of the charity MATCH (Mothers Apart from Their Children).
Emma was a Member of the Law Society Small Firms Committee for 8 years, retiring in 2022 and was on the judging panel of the Law Society Excellence Awards (Sole Practitioner Category).
